Marshall Nyasha Munetsi is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Reims and the Zimbabwe national team. He made his professional debut in 2015 and scored his first goal in 2016. He was called up to the national team ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Raised in Zimbabwe, Munetsi witnessed the firsthand hardships endured by children from low-income backgrounds in accessing quality education. Despite these obstacles, his unwavering dedication to football led to triumphs on both national and global stages. Yet, Munetsi remains grounded, with a deep understanding of the ongoing struggles faced by countless children in his community.
Guided by an unwavering commitment to creating positive change, Marshall Munetsi founded the Marshall Munetsi Foundation.
